Emboss
Lights the picture as a relief from a chosen angle and elevation.
The Emboss node treats brightness as height and lights it from the side, which turns any texture into a stamped relief.

- Angle and Elevation place the light
- Blend mixes the source colour back in; Metallic and Depth shape the finish
- Found in the node graph under Post FX → Stylize
The image on the right is the example patch itself. Drag and drop it onto the app, or load it with File → Load, to open the full graph. A Caustics field, run through a Gradient Colorizer, embossed with the default light.

Parameters
Opacity, Blend Mode, and Alpha are the standard operator header; see Parameters and Controls.
- Strength (0–5, default 1) — relief contrast.
- Angle (0–360, default 135) and Elevation (0–90, default 45) — the light direction.
- Blend (0–1, default 0) — mixes the original colours over the grey relief.
- Metallic (0–1, default 0) — a specular sheen.
- Depth (0–5, default 1) — how tall the relief reads.
Every slider has a per-parameter animation bar, so it can be animated, audio driven, or MIDI mapped.
Examples
Coloured relief — Blend 0.7, Depth 2 on a Herringbone pattern.
Troubleshooting
The result is flat grey — the source has little brightness variation, or Strength is low.
