Turbulence Warp
Displaces the picture with animated multi-octave noise.
The Turbulence Warp node pushes pixels with a moving noise field, which gives an organic, fluid distortion.

- Amount, Scale, Detail, Roughness, Speed
- Animates on its own
- Found in the node graph under Post FX → Warp
The image on the right is the example patch itself. Drag and drop it onto the app, or load it with File → Load, to open the full graph. A Caustics field, run through a Gradient Colorizer, at the default Amount of 0; raise it to see the warp.
Inputs and outputs

| Port | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Input | Texture | The picture to process. |
| Output | Texture | The result. |
Parameters
Opacity, Blend Mode, and Alpha are the standard operator header; see Parameters and Controls.
- Amount (0–0.5, default 0) — displacement strength.
- Scale (0.5–20, default 4) — size of the noise.
- Detail (1–6, default 4) — octaves of noise.
- Roughness (0–1, default 0.5) — how loud the fine octaves are.
- Speed (0–3, default 0.5) — how fast the noise evolves. 0 freezes it.
Every slider has a per-parameter animation bar, so it can be animated, audio driven, or MIDI mapped.
Examples
Underwater — Amount 0.05, Scale 3, Speed 0.3.
Melt — Amount 0.3, Scale 1, Detail 2.
Troubleshooting
Nothing happens — Amount defaults to 0.
