Hue Shift
Rotates every hue in the picture by a number of degrees.
The Hue Shift node turns the colour wheel. Every pixel keeps its saturation and brightness and moves by the same number of degrees around the wheel.

- One control, Shift, in degrees
- Saturation and brightness are untouched
- Found in the node graph under Post FX → Color FX
The image on the right is the example patch itself. Drag and drop it onto the app, or load it with File → Load, to open the full graph. A Caustics field, run through a Gradient Colorizer, passes through Hue Shift at its default of 0; move Shift to see the palette rotate.
Inputs and outputs

| Port | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Input | Texture | The picture to process. |
| Output | Texture | The result. |
Parameters
Opacity, Blend Mode, and Alpha are the standard operator header; see Parameters and Controls.
- Shift (−180 to 180, default 0) — degrees around the colour wheel. 180 swaps every colour for its complement.
Every slider has a per-parameter animation bar, so it can be animated, audio driven, or MIDI mapped.
Examples
Slow colour cycle — animate Shift with a Continuous modifier at a low speed and let it wrap.
Complement — Shift 180 on a two-colour source.
Troubleshooting
Nothing changes — the input is grey. Hue Shift has no effect on unsaturated pixels; colorize the source first with Gradient Colorizer.
